The Literacy Training Network provides professional development opportunities and resources to Minnesota's literacy practitioners.  The goal of LTN is to improve the quality and appropriateness of learning opportunities offered to adults who participate in Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs. LTN's principal responsibilities are to: 

  • Coordinate Minnesota's ABE staff development opportunities. 
  • Facilitate the sharing of effective adult learning teaching ideas, resources, materials, and techniques. 
  • Link ABE staff and other literacy providers together, promoting a collaborative network of services.
